Ian is the Founding Partner and CEO of Surgeons® Capital Management, a firm he established in 2012 with his partner Robert Owen, after a distinguished career as a financial planner in the healthcare sector. With a deep commitment to serving the unique needs of surgeons, Ian Rose and  his team provide specialized financial guidance to surgeons, their families, and their practices  nationwide.

Recognized as an expert in financial planning for surgeons, Ian Rose is a frequent guest lecturer at  university residency and fellowship programs, state surgeon associations, and national surgical  organizations. He attends over 30 surgical meetings annually to ensure his knowledge remains  current and relevant. His sessions often qualify for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits,  offering direct value to his audiences.

A graduate of Boston University’s Questrom School of Business (B.A., Finance), Ian continues to  give back as a peer advisor, mentoring future business leaders. He resides in Bryn Mawr, PA, with  his wife Monica and their bichon, George Costanza. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, traveling,  and exploring fine wines.
